Cathy Longano is a dedicated educator with over ten years of experience in the field of teaching. She taught various grade levels with her most recent one being Pre-Kindergarten, a position she adored. Currently serving as a Preschool Instructional Coach in her school district, she is passionate about supporting young learners and guiding fellow educators to foster positive and enriching classroom environments. This author is also a dog lover! She had a pug named Meatball, who inspired her book and is dedicated to in its pages. 

Longano had a dream of writing and publishing a children’s book one day. She wanted to combine her worlds and write a story that her students would learn from, connect with, and simply enjoy. Most importantly, she sought a special way to honor her beloved dog that was so very dear to her. With that, Meatball’s Mixed-Up Moods was born!
