I am an ordinary old English girl aged 64 and rising, with an amazing ex military husband and a 30 something daughter who lives a busy London life whilst we live in a quiet rural part of Berkshire, England. My desire to write has always been latent but in 2014 the inspiration to do something about it came to me like a thunderbolt and after many painful years of writing, rewriting, editing, re editing :), finding an agent and a publisher who wanted to take me on after learning the heart ache of countless rejections along the way, all whilst holding down a full time job, finally in August 2022 NO EXAGGERATION was published by Pharos of India under a traditional contract! Another hard lesson was to be had – getting my name out there! Undeterred this November THE FIREWORK FILES was also published, and it is this, my second work that I wanted to showcase to you. NO EXAGGERATION had many rooky errors I will be the first to admit, as it was based on my own life, the story led me, whilst THE FIREWORK FILES is pure fiction and I led the way, creating characters who are larger than life, I must add that it is not suitable for under 18’s due to extreme adult content – so that’s me and my writing history, hoping that it has a future. As you can see by my photo I do love laughing and drinking and just embracing life with all its ups and downs! thank you for reading this.
