The Demons have been held at bay for almost eight years. In fact, if he didn’t know he could control it Victor Powers never would have gotten married, had a family and taken his shot at living the American Dream. While having lunch at an outdoor bistro in Phillips Az. he sees her at a neighboring cafe. He’s never seen her before, but he recognizes her immediately. He hopes it’s not her, prays that it’s not her. But in the end, he knows. It’s her. She has been chosen. The Demons are awake. They will come to him in his dreams, they will not let him sleep until he kills her. When Victor’s wife Lindsay lands her dream job as an investigative reporter at a local TV station, they think that all their dreams are finally coming true. But she never imagines she will be investigating a serial killer in the Phoenix suburb of Phillips. Or how close to home her investigation will take her.

Darren Owens is a loving husband, father of five, and grandfather of two. He was raised in central Wyoming and currently lives in the Phoenix area. He served his country in The United States Marine Corps and was deployed to Operations Desert Shield & Desert Storm. He has worked in the telecommunications industry for almost thirty years. He has been an aspiring author and storyteller for most of his life. Other than his family, he enjoys solving the world’s problems with his friends, over a cold beer and a good cigar by the fire.
