I liked that the book wasn’t super long I got it read within two days. There are lots of twists and turns to keep you guessing. I loved seeing how jack would kick ass and bring everyone to the ground. He’s tough, resourceful, and determined to protect those he cares about.
I thought it was funny that in the first chapter of his book the character abigail was reading a book by Magnolia Montgomery (which is Maverick Montgomery’s wife). The characters are well developed and I felt like I was right there in the story.
I gotta say though I hated the ending! Why you may ask because it was a cliffhanger and I wainted to know what happened. But let me tell you the book was soooo good I’m excited to start on the next book in the series and will definitely read more of maverick montgomery’s books in the future.
If you enjoy thrillers with strong protagonists and plenty of suspense, then you won’t want to miss Stone’s Edge. It’s a great read for a lazy afternoon or a long flight. I would recommend this book to fans of Lee Child, David Baldacci, and Harlan Coben. I would give this book a 5/5 rating!
