About The Author
This is Rhonda LeBlanc’s first picture book. Throughout her life she has always loved being surrounded by children, as a teenage babysitter, Early Childhood Teacher, swimming lessons teacher, Mother and Grandmother. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education at Nicholls State University. Rhonda is a retired teacher who taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first grade. Through her love of writing, she has written personal books for her children and grandchildren and now enjoys writing for other children with her children’s picture book, Swimming Pool Fun. She hopes this book encourages children to see the importance of sharing and being a good friend. She lives in Louisiana with her husband, Dave. They have three married children and eight grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, gardening, playing tennis and of course swimming!
